Emotions run high:- One of the most fascinating and colourful aspects of Navratri is the dance forms — garba and dandiya raas. These dance forms are characterised by synchronised, vigorous yet graceful steps in harmony with the vibrant music. Women dressed in bright coloured chaniya cholis, cotton skirts and tops with hand embroidered work and embedded with mirrors and shells dance the night away to the rhythmic drum beats. Keeping pace with their dancing partners are men dressed in Kediyu— a traditional high waist top which looks great when the men twirl in circles. The festival is being celebrated with a lot of energy even though this year it warmed up a little late. A pretty sight: Backless is in this season!:- A large number of pretty young ladies of Ahmedabad are sporting these bright, revealing outfits for Navratri which are grabbing attention everywhere -- for obvious reasons. They are beautiful to look at and when the girls swing to the beats of music, it makes for a very pretty picture. To add to the overall beauty in motion is the tastefully stitched outfits that accentuate every move of the garba.
